 Why Your First Service Is Critical (Warranty Protection)

• The first service is the most important service your caravan will ever have 
• Completed shortly after pickup, it allows early detection of: 
  • Loose bolts, fasteners and fittings 
  • Suspension settling and brake adjustments 
  • Electrical, plumbing or gas issues from initial use
     
• Most manufacturers require the first service to be completed on time to maintain warranty eligibility
   
• Missed or late first services can: 
  • Void parts of your manufacturer warranty 
  • Delay or prevent warranty claims being approved

• A documented first service provides: 
  • Evidence of proper maintenance 
  • A clear service history for future claims or resale value

What’s included in our full caravan service:

Wheels, Tyres & Hubs
 

• Tyre condition, age, pressures (including spare) and rotation checked 
• Rims inspected for damage 
• Wheel bearings cleaned, inspected, re-greased and resealed 
• Wheel nut torque, castellated nut & split-pin checks with photo verification
   

Brakes & Safety Systems
 

• Brake magnets, wiring and pad condition inspected 
• Brake adjustment and full function testing 
• Breakaway system tested (battery replacement if required)
   

Suspension & Chassis
 

• Leaf or coil suspension fully inspected 
• Bushes, shocks, mounts, bolts and rocker assemblies checked and torqued 
• Chassis, A-frame, coupling and safety chains inspected 
• Jockey wheel, corner steadies lubricated 
• Corrosion and crack inspection
   

Electrical Systems
 

• 12V system check including batteries, charging, lighting and sockets 
• Solar panels cleaned and inspected 
• 240V power points, circuit breakers and inlets tested
   

Gas & Plumbing
 

• Gas lines, bayonets and bottle dates checked 
• Water pump, filters, tanks, pipes and pressure tested 
• Hot water system tested (gas & 240V)
   

Appliances & Accessories
 

• Fridge (12V, 240V & gas where applicable) 
• Air conditioner operation, filters and remote 
• Microwave, cooktop, oven & grill tested 
• Diesel or gas heaters checked 
• Slide-out kitchens & BBQs tested
   

Interior & Exterior
 

• Cupboard latches, hinges and drawer runners adjusted 
• External seals inspected for water ingress 
• Doors, locks, gas struts and awnings checked and lubricated
   

Safety Equipment
 

• Smoke alarm tested 
• Fire extinguisher inspected
   

Quality Assurance
 

• Service photos supplied 
• Final cross-check and sign-off for peace of mind
